Your mission: To make the most awesome procedural/instructional video which teaches your audience of 11-12 year-olds how to DO something.
When is it due? There is no due date yet for the final edited video, but you need to be ready to film on Monday, November 14.
Where will it be filmed? We will film the footage in our classroom. This project is both oral presentation and media creation. Everyone will have a time slot to film as the class watches in the audience. I will make some exceptions based on the needs of individual projects.
Are we working in partners or by ourselves? You and your partner will work together to edit, but you yourself will do the planning, writing, and performing of your own project. Your partner will film.
Do we need to memorize it? No. We will be using an app on our iPads which let's you read your script like a TV presenter. However, you should know your script well enough so it doesn't look like you're reading from a script.
How long should it be? The length of the final edited video should be 1-5minutes (no longer).
When will my partner and I get time to edit? In class. You are not expected to do this at home.
3Ps of Privacy: You can choose to include your face or not include your face. if you choose the latter, you will be able to post the video on your blog.
